The Embassy intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced, technically acceptable, responsible offeror. The contract will be for a one-year period plus four (4) Option Years. The Government may award the contract based on the initial quote without discussion although a discussion may be held with the companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. Due date and time for submission of quotes will be provided in the Request for Quote (RFQ) once it is posted on SAM.gov. Electronic Submission/Responses: This opportunity allows for electronic responses. The Quote will need to be submitted to ORourkeDJ@state.gov and PandzicS@state.gov prior to the response date and time in the solicitation. If you prefer to mail, the Quote will need to be mailed to the contracting office listed in this notice prior to the response date and time in the solicitation. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.
