## Description

Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) The Department of State intends to award a sole source Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to Claeys & Engels. This BPA will provide for continued legal advisory services required by the U.S. Embassy in Brussels, primarily or exclusively concerning labor law.

This includes providing legal advice on Belgian labor law, Belgian Social Security, income tax, civil liability, health/safety/environment issues, and other related areas to ensure compliance with local regulations. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, the government has determined that Claeys & Engels is the only responsible source able to provide these critical legal advisory services, as required for compliance with both Belgian and U.S. regulations.

This is not a request for competitive proposals, and no solicitation is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. Interested sources must respond in writing with clear and convincing evidence of their ability to provide the required services within seven (8) days of this publication. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government.

**Authority:** FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Companies should respond by written correspondence no later than Monday, 09 Decembre, 2024.
