## Description

The United States Government (USG), Department of State (DOS), has a requirement for the scheduled annual maintenance and emergency repairs of the furnace and burner of central heating systems, both gas and fuel, installed in U.S. Government-owned or leased apartments, houses, and office buildings in Belgium. The contractor shall provide these services in full compliance with Belgian laws and other applicable regulations. A full description of the required services and scope of work can be found in the attached documents.

**Contract Type:** The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract from the start date in the Notice to Proceed and continuing for 12 months, with 2, one-year options to renew.

**Conference Call:** The Embassy intends to conduct a pre-quotation conference call. The pre-proposal conference will be held on Apr. 24th, 2025, at 11.00am (local time). Prospective offerors/quoters should contact BrusselsBids@state.gov for additional information or to arrange access to the Teams call.

**Offer Instructions:** Complete the OFFER as instructed in section 3, including all blank spaces highlighted in yellow, and have the form signed by an authorized representative of your company, or the quote may be considered unacceptable and may be rejected. In order for a proposal to be considered, you must also complete and submit the following:

SF-1449 Section 1, Pricing Section 5 Representations and Certifications Additional information as required in Section 3 - A.2.

**Registration Requirements:** All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database (https://www.sam.gov) prior to submitting an offer, pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submission of quotations/proposals.

**Electronic Submission/Responses:** Your quotation must be submitted electronically to BrusselsBids@state.gov. It is important to make sure the submission is made in specific size and format; Adobe Acrobat (pdf) file format. The file size must not exceed 30MB. If the file size should exceed the 2MB, the submission must be made in separate files and attached to separate emails with less than 2MB each. (ex: first email ending in “part 1 of 3” and last email ending in "part 3 of 3”)
