The United States Government (USG), Department of State (DOS), has a requirement to repair and restore the brick chimney at the roof of the residence located in Tervuren, Belgium. Scope of Work: The project involves the repair and restoration of the brick chimney at the roof of the residence. Key Tasks: Paint removal, brick masonry repairs, and repainting of all four sides of the chimney. Removal of the old exhaust system and repair of the chimney/roof area where the old exhaust system was in place. Use of high-quality, first-class materials and fittings. All responsible sources may submit a quotation at the time of the solicitation. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussions. However, discussions may be held with companies in the competitive range if necessary. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract. Site Visit: A compulsory site visit is organized by the US Embassy. All contractors intending to submit a bid must attend the site visit. The time and date will be stated in the solicitation.
