## Description

The United States Government (USG), Department of State (DOS), has a requirement to remove and replace the sealant/ caulking at the exterior window system at one of our office buildings located within American Embassy Compound in Brussels, Belgium. The estimated linear meters for the replacement of the sealant/caulking is approximately 930 linear meters of windows. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. Works should include but are not limited to:

Surface preparation and setup for working at heights. (Building height ~ 27m) Removal of Asbestos Containing Material and safe packing.

Furnish install appropriate backer rod and caulk/sealant around the exterior of all the windows. (sikaHyflex or equivalent* - façade sealant & appropriate backer rod) Full description and scope of work can be found in the attachements The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion but may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.

The Government is planning a site visit on Tuesday June 9th ,2024 at 10.00am. Please complete the visit submission form if you would like to attend the visit and send it before Friday July 05th, 2024 at 1.00pm. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
