The Embassy of the United States in Barbados will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The Embassy of the United States in Barbados requires Vehicle Insurance Services. The anticipated performance period is for a base year with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on initial offers without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed-price type contract. Notwithstanding FAR 4.203-1(b)(5)(ii), the Contracting Officer has determined that it is in the best interest of the U.S. Government that offerors be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and have an active SAM account at the time of submitting a proposal. Failure to be registered at the time of proposal submission shall deem the offeror's proposal non-responsive to the solicitation instructions, and no further consideration will be given.
