## Description

USG Seeks Qualified Professional Architect and Engineering Firms to Provide Structural Engineering Analysis and Evaluation Services for a USG-owned multi-story historic residential and commercial building in Vienna, Austria. Firm to provide detailed analysis and evaluation of the entire building foundation and structure condition to include the entire building and all of its construction elements from the lower most foundation to the uppermost portion of the roof.

Analysis to include determination and identification of any building defects or damages that were incurred as a result of tunneling and other subterranean works associated with the construction of City of Vienna subway tunnel systems and all associated construction works that have occurred directly beneath and / or in the vicinity of the subject building and property.

Analysis and evaluation to include an extensive review of documentation as well as physically evident, and non-visible cracks and any other visible or non-visible structural degradation. Firm to assess damages whether structural or cosmetic and determine their proximate cause. Damage assessment to include industry standard testing and inspection methods. Firm to develope a detailed structural and cosmetic restauration plan to restore the building to its condition prior to the aforementioned tunneling projects.

Firm to provide a Seismic Report (Earthquake Analysis) in accordance with the current International Building Code (IBC). Firm will provide a professional detailed report of the evaluation, analysis, and assessments in the English language. All interested and capable contractors must submit an electronic copy of their SF330s (see attached PDF form), via email, by the closing time/date of this announcement. No hard/physical copies will be accepted. They must be submitted to the contracting officer at acquisitionsembvienna@state.gov
