The Camp Coiner property contains many existing buildings, hardscape surfaces, and below-grade utility infrastructure. The Camp Coiner property contains contaminated soil and groundwater, to include two known contamination plumes from past fuel oil leaks, which must be remediated prior to construction of the NEC. The eastern parcel, if found to be environmentally contaminated, must be cleaned in accordance with relevant ROK laws and regulations, such as the Soil Environmental Conservation Act, or the value of the property must be adjusted.
