## Description

This is a combine synopsis and solicitation. The services of this proposed solicitation may include all construction, training, and related activities necessary to build ANEA’s capability and capacity to store radiological material securely and safely. This shall be accomplished through three independent, but interrelated lines of effort (LOEs). LOE 1 shall consist of security upgrades to Maputo Central Hospital's (HCM) disused source and irradiated material storage bunker.

LOE 2 shall consist of construction of a storage facility for orphaned and disused sources for ANEA. Finally, LOE 3 shall consist of associated and relevant general and technical training for appropriate Mozambican stakeholders. The Government will host a virtual site visit with the U.S. Government and Mozambique's stakeholders.

It is highly recommended that interested Offerors have personnel with knowledge of radiology and construction present for communication exchanges in order to submit a comprehensive proposal. Interested vendors should submit names and email addresses for the virtual meeting to the Contracting Officer, Khoa D. Tran (TranKD@state.gov), scheduled for August 1, 2024 from 7:30 AM - 10:00 AM EDT. Proposals due date is extended to September 2, 2024 at 3:00PM EDT
