## Description

The U.S. Department of State (DOS) has a requirement for a qualified Contractor to provide Local Guard Services to support the U.S. Mission in Nairobi, Kenya. The Government requires a secure environment to conduct their mission. The Contractor shall provide the organizational structure, management, and qualified staff at levels adequate to meet or exceed the requirement contained in the Performance Work Statement.

The Contractor shall be required to provide services in a manner that prevent loss or injury to U.S. personnel, dependents, property; destruction of assets; to prevent unauthorized access; and deter potential terrorist attacks. Anticipated period of performance of the contract is one base year and four one-year options (to be exercised at the sole discretion of the Government). An in-person Site Visit will be conducted on 12 October 2022 (see Section L.1) of the U.S. Mission facilities in Nairobi.

Vendors will have an opportunity to ask questions which are due to the POC identified in the solicitation by 14 October 2022 via email only, see Section L.9 in 19AQMM22R0160 pdf for more details.

Amendment 08 - Attach Q&A sheet further clarifying some of the questions from Amendments A0005/0006/0007. Extend the proposal due date out to 24 February 2023. Vendors will need to have proposals submitted to the Contracting Officer NLT 1500EST on this date. PHONE CALLS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
