**Notice of Sole-Source Award Agency:** Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL)

**Contracting Activity:** INL/SAO/GAPP on behalf of INL/Honduras Purpose of the Notice: This post-award, sole-source commercial item notice is published on SAM.gov under FAR Part 13 to provide transparency and inform the public of the Department of State's decision to award a sole-source contract. The purpose of this notice is to provide a record of the government’s decision to not solicit further competition.

**Nature of the Solicitation:** This is a sole-source procurement for a 12-month maintenance service contract for the IP6500 VACIS non-intrusive inspection scanner. The contract covers a one-year period of performance.

**Basis for Sole Source:** The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S. Code 1901, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a) and FAR 13.106(b).
