## Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation issued in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 15 procedures for the acquisition of commercial services. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP), seeks to procure Medical Second Opinion and Examination Services (SECOPs) in support of the Federal Employees’ Compensation Act (FECA) program.

These services are intended for claimants located within the United States, its Possessions, Territories, and Trust Territories. The contractor shall provide board-certified, licensed physicians in various medical specialties to perform impartial medical second opinion evaluations, referee medical examinations, and related administrative services. These evaluations are critical in assisting OWCP claims staff in adjudicating and managing workers’ compensation claims filed under the FECA.
