The geographical radius for home confinement placements is for the entire state of Vermont. The solicitation is anticipated to be for an IDIQ contract. There will be a guaranteed minimum and an estimated maximum number of placements, to include in-house and HC residents. It is anticipated that all services will be solicited under a single procurement and will require that the successful offeror provide all services. The requirement is anticipated to be for an estimated maximum of 15 HC placements, 19 in-house RRC beds, or 15 DRC placements. The geographical radius for HC placements or DRC will be the entire state of Vermont. At this time, we can neither foresee nor predict any factors that would precipitate a change. The RRC requirement will consist of a guaranteed minimum of 10 beds and a maximum of 23 beds (21 male beds and 2 female beds) for the One-year Base Period and each of the Four One-year Option Periods. The Home Confinement requirement will consist of a guaranteed minimum of 5 placements and a maximum 11 placements to include both males and females for the Base Period and each of the Four One-year Option Periods. The DRC requirement will consist of a guaranteed minimum of 6 placements and a maximum of 15 placements to include both males and females for the One-year Base Period and each of the Four One-year Option Periods. The Government reserves the right to potentially make an award which is deemed to be in the best interest of the Government.
