The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) anticipates issuance of a solicitation for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled Replace Chillers and Cooling System, at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCC Tucson), located in Tucson, Arizona. FCC Tucson is a Federal correctional facility located at 9300 South Wilmot Rd., Tucson, AZ, 85756. The Contractor shall completely prepare site, including demolition and removal of existing equipment, structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for the quick connection of a mobile chiller to the existing chilled water loop and electrical power system as shown on the attached drawings and specifications. See the Statement of Work/Specifications attachment included with the solicitation posting (to be issued at a later date as described herein) for the complete requirements of the work. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 238220 with a corresponding small business size standard of $19 million.
