This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, and the delivery date will be on or around April 1, 2024. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, 501 Gary Hill Road, Edgefield, South Carolina 29824. Should any scheduled delivery fall on a holiday, delivery will be made on the next business day, unless otherwise specified by the food service department. Food Service reserves the right to make weekly adjustments on quantities and schedule, if needed, based on institutional needs. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards and will award to the responsible quoter whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered equally. The solicitation will be made available on or about February 9, 2024, and will be posted to the Beta.SAM.gov website: https://beta.sam.gov/. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, and award information will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Quotes will be due Wednesday February 28, 2024, by 1:00 pm EST. The Government reserves the right to make payment using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Quoters should include their Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) and Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number in their offers. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the System for Award Management (SAMS) database prior to award by entering the potential awardees’ DUNS & UEI number into the SAMS database.
