\nThe Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), FCI Cumberland, intends to issue a solicitation to refurbish the institution’s wastewater lift station. Work includes demolition and removal of existing pumps, grinder, auger, electrical disconnects, transfer switch, and controls; installation of new lift station equipment; electrical upgrades; controls modernization; testing; commissioning; and staff training. \n• New level‑sensing system with redundancy and audio/visual alarms.
\n• Installation of new grinder, auger, diverters, three wet‑well pumps, and three spare pumps.
\n• Replacement of incoming disconnects, automatic transfer switch, and associated wiring.
\n• Upgraded grounding, conduits, surge/lightning protection, and fail‑safe logic.
\n• Full functional testing, hydrostatic testing, manufacturer startup, and calibration.
