ChampionX has been successfully carrying out the flights offshore from California since 2010 and in Colorado since 2016. They have the aircraft, pilot qualifications, certifications, and required technical and flight expertise to carry out the required sampling flights. ChampionX has modified aircraft as necessary (and obtained any required Federal Aviation Administration approvals) to install and operate the GML instrumentation and equipment as required for the flights. GML operates approximately 80 long-term atmospheric measurement sites around the globe, and air sample and measurement records collected must be continued regularly, without significant breaks in the time series. GML cannot risk compromising the long-term integrity of these research-grade measurement time series. Period of Performance: date of award through 1 year after award. ***This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation package is available. However, firms that believe they can fully meet the government's requirements may submit substantiating documentation in writing to the identified point of contact within 15 days after publication of this synopsis.
