The software that is currently licensed by Deltek named GovWin IQ. Will enable Federal Prison Industries (UNICOR) to access data related to future federal government service / product production contracts and private sector business opportunities that Federal Prison Industries would be eligible to compete for as a product/ services source. Federal Prison Industries had previously sourced the use of GovWin software as a component part of SalesForce software in a prior acquisition. After review of the contact performance of SaleForce and the GovWin component which can be sourced as a standalone product a determination has been made to acquire the GovWin product separately. Lead review and targeted lead generation software is critical to meeting the sales and profit performance goals of Federal Prison Industries. After research of products that could perform the services that GovWin can perform it was determined that no other service provider provides the technology or support of this type or level. It is also noted that the GovWin software is patented and exclusive to Deltek. The software will also assist Federal Prison Industries mission requirements of being fully self-supporting and self-funding via sales of its goods and services.
