## Description

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to award a single source, firm fixed price contract as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) to University of Washington for the purchase of Otolith Trace Element Analysis Services. A vendor is sought to provide otolith trace element analysis services utilizing Laser Ablation Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (LA-ICPMS).

LA-ICPMS is highly specialized work that provides precise analysis of the samples, which is needed to remain consistent with previous years analysis. It is expected that the vendor assists with the otolith analysis, element measurements, as well as provide guidance on data post-processing. Since analysis may take multiple days at a time, it is expected the vendor be within 60 miles of the Seattle area.
