This contract is expected to have a period of performance of one (1) base year and one (1) option year, with a total period of performance of 2026 - 2028. This non-personal service requirement seeks a vendor that can provide the unique and highly specialized services required to refurbish and assemble the Binoculars in accordance with the Statement of Work (Attachment 1_SOW 143051-26-0094). A Total Small Business set aside is to be used for this sole source requirement.The associated NAICS code is 459999. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation documents exist for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capabilities statement that includes technical data and cost information, sufficient detail, and convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to meet the requirement. All capabilities statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source procurement.
