This system ensures data protection from loss due to inadvertent user actions, hardware and software failure, and general disaster or emergency situations with offsite backup storage. The Spectra Logic T120 tape libraries are the primary device for creating secondary copies of the tape based system and data backups for offsite storage as part of the Center’s disaster protection and recovery (COOP) plan. The requirement is for maintenance on this existing system, not an equivalent replacement system; (ii) This presolicitation notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation package is available.
