Description:** (i) The requirement is for a replacement for the currently inoperable Milli-Q water purification system, a high-quality ultrapure water purification system to support ongoing and future research needs. Ultrapure water is critical for sensitive laboratory applications such as HPLC/UHPLC, IC, elemental analysis, cell/molecular biology, and biochemistry to ensure accurate results in fisheries ecology, habitat assessment, and related environmental research. The contractor shall furnish, deliver, install, and commission one (1) Milli-Q® EQ 7000 ultrapure water purification system, including all specified accessories, installation services, a multi-year preventive maintenance/service contract, and trade-in/removal of the existing non-operable Milli-Q water purification system; (ii) This presolicitation notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation package is available. However, firms that believe they can fully meet the Government’s requirements may submit substantiating documentation or a request for additional information in writing to the identified point of contact before the due date/ deadline of this SAM posting.
