This contract is expected to have a period of performance of 30 days after the award date. Buoys deployed in the harsh environment of the Chesapeake Bay are prone to failure. The ability to prepare for repairs by maintaining a reasonable stock of high failure components will result in less system downtime, and a consistent data record for each buoy location. A small business set aside is anticipated to be used for this sole source requirement. The associated NAICS code is 334511. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation documents exist for the requirement.
