## Description

USDA ARS’s FoodData Central (FDC) requires a NoSQL solution to support multi-document ACID transactions, allow for replica set configuration of up to 50 replicas, ensure full application compatibility, handle document sizes up to 16MB, and provide native data visualization without third-party BI tools. FDC also requires strong referential integrity and transactional guarantees to maintain data integrity, especially where the database supports sharded clusters across multiple nodes
