## Description

This Justification and Approval (J&A) is for a sole source award made under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and FAR 13.501(a), ¿Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.¿ The Bureau of Reclamation awarded a firm-fixed-price purchase order to FMC Technologies, Inc. (a subsidiary of TechnipFMC) for UCOS Subscription Services.

These services support the proprietary UCOS software platform used in the Distributed Control Systems (DCS) at the Yuma Desalting Plant (YDP) and Water Quality Improvement Center (WQIC). The UCOS system is proprietary to TechnipFMC, and all licensing, updates, and technical support must be procured through FMC Technologies, Inc. No authorized resellers or third-party vendors exist. This notice is published in accordance with FAR 6.305.
