The Norton Dam spillway is located approximately 4.9 miles southwest of the town of Norton, along Norton County Rd W3 off of Lower Dam Road. Work performed under these specifications includes the following: 1. Remove and replace wire ropes. 2. Remove grease lines. 3. Fully recoat and rehabilitate sheave assemblies and idler arm assemblies. 4. Fully recoat floatwell covers, weirwell covers, and raised platforms. 5. Spot repair coatings on hoisting equipment. Method of Procurement - This requirement is solicited as a Request for Proposal using the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 15 - Contracting by Negotiation.
