The contractor is providing all labor, equipment, dumpsters, transportation, and disposal services under a base year plus four option years. The action was awarded on a sole source basis due to Calaveras County’s exclusive solid waste franchise system, under which Cal-Waste is the only authorized provider to perform these services within the county.
