Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 517111, which is 1,500 employees. This is the only announcement that will be issued prior to award. The US Bureau of Reclamation (USBR), California Great Basin Region, intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis with AT&T Company (DBA Pacific Bell Telephone Company) for local and long-distance phone access exchange voice and data service lines for a contract for one year, for the Great Basin Region- Central California Area Office (CCAO) under the authority of FAR 13.501. AT&T is the sole provider of local telecommunications services for the areas of Folsom, Lake Berryessa, and New Melones Lake, California. Firms which can provide the services above must submit written notice to the Contracting Officer and must provide evidence in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent¿s ability to meet the stated requirement. This is not a request for competitive quotations. All responses received by the due date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this synopsis will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
