The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to identify and collect information on potential sources of supply for PIT Tags. Responses to this announcement will be used by the Government in planning and making acquisition decisions. This announcement also serves as a notice of the Government’s intent to issue a solicitation for the supplies described herein using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, in conjunction with part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code to be used for this requirement is 334511 Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 1,350 employees. The Government is seeking to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of both small and large businesses. The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking firms with the qualifications and capability to provide the supplies listed in the attached specifications. If your company is interested and can demonstrate the firm’s ability, capability, and responsibility to provide the supplies, we encourage you to respond to this announcement with a statement of your qualifications and capability.
