PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this project is to install fiber optic line replacing outdated lines to improve internet and phone services for Chaco Culture National Historical Park. The lines will be owned and maintained by Frontier Communications of the South, LLC. TYPE OF PROCUREMENT: It is anticipated that a sole-source, negotiated, firm-fixed price contract will be awarded using FAR part 13 procedures. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: Between $100,000 - $250,000 ESTIMATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 180 days SET-ASIDE: This procurement is a full and open, as a sole source to Frontier Communications of the South, LLC. The small business size standard for NAICS 237130, Fiber Optic Cable Transmission Line Construction, is $45 million.
