The National Park Service: Blue Ridge Parkway National Park is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Required Services: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials and supervision required to complete this project. This requirement consists of; The services to be provided within this Performance Work Statement (PWS) consist of cutting hazardous tree along the BLRI at four designated locations in North Carolina, and Virginia, (two locations in each state), as far as the funding lasts. The removal of the hazardous dead and diseased trees is important to eliminate a danger of falling tree to visitors, NPS employees, and contractors that are working along the Parkway. The services to be provided within this Statement of Work (SOW) consist of Hazard tree removal. Applicable Conditions ¿ Contractor is required to furnish all personnel and material to meet the requirements specified in the contract work statement.
