Small Business Size Standard: $45,000,000.00 Solicitation: NPS anticipates issuing a request for proposals in the Spring/Summer of 2024. Bonding: NPS anticipates bid, performance and payment bonds will be required. Project Description: The project is located within Zion National Park, Springdale, UT. The construction magnitude is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The surrounding area is rural with limited staging located at Zion National Park. The construction site is 30 miles from nearest suppliers and lodging facilities. The Park will remain open during construction, thus contract activities and logistics must be structured and scheduled to minimize visitor impact and operation of concession ferries. The site requires protective measures to ensure the surrounding area remains undisturbed due to historic structures and tidal wetlands. The sites are a sensitive historic, natural and cultural resources. The period of performance is estimated at 100 calendar days including any potential weather shutdown. Project Scope: Work to be performed under this construction project requirements includes: Phase III work includes installing electrical charging service for the new bus fleet and all associated work (dispenser installation, conductors, equipment pads, generator installation, electrical panel work, circuit breakers, concrete duct banks). It also includes new asphalt pavement, new concrete, culvert and associated drainage work, utility work, earthwork and grading, boulder retaining wall installation, bollards, fencing, pavement striping, revegetation, and associated site work.
