The Contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies, and materials required to mechanically mow brush and grass within the project area(s) and within the specified performance time. The Solicitation will include contract documents with details of the project when it is released. The project is located in Elko County, Nevada. Service Contract Act (SCA) Wage Rate Requirements are applicable to this project and the appropriate SCA Wage Decision(s) will be included in the solicitation. The BLM will issue a Total Small Business Set-Aside competitive solicitation on/about March 21, 2024. The BLM anticipates issuing a single firm fixed price award from this solicitation. The competitive solicitation, 140L3924R0001, will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.5, Set-Asides for Small Business. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 115310, Support Activities for Forestry, Fuels Management Services and the size standard is $34.0M (per the SBA’s Table of Small Business Size Standards). A Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation package will be available electronically on or about March 21, 2024, at the SAM website located at www.sam.gov. Proposals will be due no later than April 22, 2024. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring www.sam.gov for the release of the solicitation package, for any other pertinent information, and for downloading a complete copy of the solicitation package. The government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered, and currently active, and complete the online Representations and Certification in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base via website: http://www.sam.gov Award will be based on Best Value to the Government in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
