Background and Justification: The vendor, Southern California Edison will provide a shelter, rack space, and tower space for three BLM repeaters. Southern California Edison shall provide support to the Admin, Fire and Law Enforcement (LE) staffs supporting the Barstow resource area. The repeater and microwave systems provide coverage for all BLM field going staff. Services to be performed: See Attached Responses This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, however all responsible sources who believe they can meet all of the requirements may submit a capability statement that demonstrates clear and convincing evidence of capability, addressing the points identified in paragraph (2) above. If you believe you can provide the items or services requested, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency, to the Contract Specialist Gabriel Lange glange@blm.gov referencing notice 0040649094 Frost Peak Comm Site and will be used for future purchases. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract acquisition based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate.
