The United States Geological Survey, Office of Acquisition and Grants is soliciting information from qualified sources; the results of this announcement will be evaluated to determine if there are businesses capable of fulfilling this requirement. The U.S. Geological Survey, Grand Canyon Monitoring and Research Center is in search of vendors that can supply Acoustic-Doppler 2 MHz 2D horizontal profilers, one 1 MHz frequency and one 2 MHz frequency, with 2 acoustic beams, pressure sensor, compass, tilt sensor, noise filter, PUV Wave burst collection capability, and 16GB of internal datalogging. The Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler must have the following specifications: Two horizontal acoustic beams with 50 or more measurement cells, internal 0-10m pressure sensor, internal tilt sensor, internal compass, PUV Wave burst collection capability, and a noise filter to reduce night-time noise levels.
