## Description

WA -LEAVENWORTH NFH-ANNUAL PRAS SERVICE Sole Source Justification The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery, intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source contract under the authority of FAR 13.106¿1(b)(1)(i) to Integrated Aqua. The requirement is for annual maintenance services, including necessary parts, for four SITA UV units and three HEX Microscreen Drum Filter units associated with the partially-recirculating aquaculture system (pRAS) at the hatchery.

Integrated Aqua is the only known service provider with the specialized expertise, operational knowledge, and manufacturer-specific experience necessary to safely service and troubleshoot the SITA UV400/18 TC UL systems and the HEX X3¿3HP microscreen drum filters while live fish or sensitive aquatic systems are operating.

Their technicians possess unique training relevant to these specific units, have the ability to procure OEM parts, and can meet the hatchery¿s requirement for responding to equipment emergencies within one business day. No other vendor has demonstrated the capability to meet these technical and operational needs.

The annual maintenance performed under this contract is essential to ensure safe and effective operation of the pRAS facility, supporting the rearing of approximately 280,000 spring Chinook salmon each year. Proper servicing of the UV and drum filter systems maintains water quality, protects fish health, and preserves the longevity of this specialized equipment. This notice is for information purposes only. Interested parties may submit a capability statement by 3/25/2026 to oscar_orozco@fws.gov.
