The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) will use information obtained through this synopsis as well as other market research to develop an acquisition strategy. Summary: The USFWS is anticipating the solicitation and award of one firm fixed price construction contract to provide Design/Build services for a fully functional bridge over Baskett Slough stream in Dallas, OR. The work under this contract is expected to include but is not limited to the following: Furnishing planning, ancillary design, facility, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles, and furnishing all labor, transportation, and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications, and performing all work or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. Work also includes the demolition and removal of an existing steel 48¿ diameter CMP culvert, water control structure and associated appurtenances, installation of a new 60¿ long by 18¿ wide prefabricated steel vehicle bridge and abutments, installation of all other components needed for a fully functional bridge system. A composite steel concrete bridge is allowed if it is a benefit to the Service due to cost or delivery scheduling.
