Contractor will be responsible for visiting the site to verify the size. Work includes removing and disposal, preparing the openings, application of fire-retardant clear coating to existing exposed wood framing on interior walls, installing the door assemblies, installation of new rigid EMT conduit, j-boxes, and electrical wire from electrical room, breakers as required to ensure proper operation and fire ratings, and completing necessary inspections and testing, all in accordance with manufacturer instructions and NFPA 80. All door assemblies, hardware, framing, fasteners, motors, controls, conduit, wiring shall be brand new, no blemished, factory seconds, remanufactured items permitted. Type of Contract - The Department of Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) intends to award a firm fixed price contract from this solicitation for the installation of a creek crossing under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Part 36, Construction and A/E Contracts.
