## Description

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Procurement Operations (OPO), Federal Protective Service (FPS), Acquisitions Division (AD) extended the ordering period of contract 70RFP218DEC000009, with Paragon Systems, Inc. (Paragon Systems, Inc. 3900 Lincoln Park Drive, Suite 300 Herndon, VA 20171), for Armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) services at several locations in the Washington, DC are on a basis other than full and open competition.

This proposed extension is to provide for continued protective security officer services in the Washington, DC area to allow time to award and transition the follow-on effort for these services. See below the final approved justification and approval redacted.
