The Customer Care Program includes maintenance releases, software upgrades and unlimited technical support. This is a sole source since DataWorks Development, Inc.: a) is the author, exclusive owner, and sole provider of all Freezerworks laboratory database products; b) is the only organization worldwide with the unique technical competence, expertise, and proprietary technology used in the manufacture and application of Freezerworks; and c) maintains all intellectual property rights through copyright and trademark privileges. Maintenance services for Freezerworks products must be obtained directly from the OEM. Furthermore, the metadata and storage location information has been manually entered over many years into the Freezerworks database for +100,000 biological and environmental samples located at the NIST Charleston Biorepository. A firm fixed-price purchase order will be negotiated and issued on or about June 30, 2026 for a 12-mo. period and include (4) 12-mo. option periods to cover renewal of maintenance and support associated with the Freezerworks Customer Care Program. Based on NIST’s recent market research DATAWORKS DEVELOPMENT, INC (Unique Entity ID: YUN1SKWC4WG1) is registered and active in SAM.GOV.
