## Description

**NON-PERSONAL-SERVICES:** The requirement will support modifications to existing Low-Frequency Detection and Classification System (LFDCS) acoustic software that allows for North Atlantic right whale sounds to be detected in our data.

The LFDCS software is written within the Interactive Data Language (IDL) programming environment and the company that produces this environment will work to improve our custom written LFDCS software in order to make it capable of faster processing and independent of Operating System platforms. This will allow us to streamline and speed up our data processing and we will be able to provide our data products in a more timely manner to meet critical agency requirements.
