## Description

Facilitate VMS data acquisition from individual fishing vessels and alleviate the economic strain to the fisher for the costs of the VMS placement on vessels and to coordinate a campaign to assist vessel owners in acquiring VMS units. Coordinate with fishery partners to design an equitable program that prescribes and carries out a reemimbursement program for vessel owners who meet criteria for VMS unit capitalization.
