## Description

The Naval Medical Research Command intends to award a sole source contract to Radiometer America, Inc., 250 S. Kraemer Blvd. Mail Stop B1. SW.11, Brea CA 92821. This is not a request for competitive proposals; however, if interested, the government shall consider all responses.

The requirement is a single-award contract for a blood gas analyzer manufactured by Radiometer America Inc., designed to quickly provide results on a variety of critical care parameters like blood gases, electrolytes, metabolites, and co-oximetry. The instrument will have continuous automatic quality management (AQM) to ensure accuracy and reliability and offer on screen instructions for operation and maintenance.

It will deliver test results within 35 seconds on up to 19 vital parameters using only 65ul of blood for analysis. Additionally, the equipment will include an on-site service contract to cover the one-year initial warranty, of which service includes, - 24/7 phone support, analyzer updates, remote support connection, annual analyzer performance reports, service parts, onsite coverage Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm, annual onsite PM visits.

Due to the number of time points required for each protocol, an additional blood analyzer would help advance the number of samples that can be analyzed and improve productivity.
