## Description

The Naval Medical Research Center intends to award a sole source contract to Nikon Instruments, 1300 Walt Whitman Road Melville, NY 11747-3064. This is not a request for competitive proposals; however, if interested, the government shall consider all responses. Provide for the purchsase of a preventative maintenance contract package for the Nikon A1R MP confocal microscope.

Preventative maintenance contract shall cover: one on-site preventative maintenance (PM) visit, and repairs for one year, as well as travel of a field service engineer, parts and labor included for the PM as well as any additional repairs that might occur within the period of performance. The period of performance for this contract is for a period of 12-months. Components covered are as follows:

1) Coverage for the A1R MP Scanner Module (S/N 502071), Controller and Detector, LU-N4 Laser Fixture (S/N 41120), LU Controller (S/N 456064), IOU Optical Unit, GaAsP NDDD Epi, Detector Unit (S/N 590780), Spectral Detector (S/N 545111), NIS Software Updates, and a Preventative maintenance (PM) visit once per contract year.

**POP:** FY25 - FY26; One Base Year. The NAICS code for this action is 811210. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12 Commercial Items. NMRC requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Systems for Award Management (SAM).
