## Description

In accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) the requirement was under the simplified acquisition threshold and Nondiaphragm Post Frame Design Guide, TN was determined to be in the best interest of the government to solicit from a single source. Timber Tech Engineering has unique experience in the Post Frame industry and members of their staff are lead authors and contributors of National Frame Building Association books that are utilized by other companies.

They have proven to be an industry leader for nondiaphraphragm post frame designs. Other firms have been used by NRCS in the past to develop similar state specific design guides with unsatisfactory results at much higher cost. For these reasons, it was determined to be in the best interest of the government to solicit from a single source and procure the Nondiaphragm Post Grame Design Guide for New Hampshire NRCS from Timber Tech Engineering.
