The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC), in conjunction with the National Conservation Resource Service (NRCS), Iowa State Office intends to award a sole source delivery order to Trimble, Inc for Trimble Products. Requirements: FPAC requires Trimble products with warranty and repair services for the products detailed in the attachments. The requirement also includes a trade-in of existing government owned equipment. Please see attachments for required supplies and trade-in information The proposed contract action is for commercial items for which the Government intends to solicit in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) 8.405, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR 8.405. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) for this acquisition is: 334511 Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing. This is not a solicitation for competitive quotes, however, if any other interested party believes that it can provide the required products, it may submit a statement of capabilities. Capability statements must display sufficient detail and evidence to determine if the party can provide the required products. The statement of capabilities must be furnished in writing and emailed to eugene.jackson2@usda.gov and Andrew.sawyer@usda.gov by September 30, 2024, at 10:00 pm Eastern Time (ET). The government will not pay for information received in response to this announcement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. This is a notice, and a solicitation will not be issued.
