## Description

AMENDMENT 0001

(See attached SF30) The purpose of this amendment is to:

A. Provide a copy of the Site Visit Sign-in Sheet; B. Provide Questions and Answers for the two (2) questions submitted within the question-submission due date;

1. How much time before construction begins do we need the generators?

**ANSWER:** Generators shall be installed and activated before the power to the main building and the Head house is disconnected. It is listed as Day 1 activities on E-004.

2. Will the generators be provided by the contractor or by the government?

**ANSWER:** Rental generators shall be provided by the contractor.

The USDA ARS requires that all labor, supervision, tools, and materials be provided for upgrading selected components of the existing electrical system of the site. The project is located at USDA, ARS, Northwest Irrigation & Soils Research Laboratory (NWISRL) at 3793 N 3600 E Kimberly, ID 83341-5076. All work shall be performed in accordance with the terms, conditions, drawings and specifications contained in this document.

**SITE VISIT:** 10:00 AM Mountain Time on Wednesday April 24, 2024. See Section L.4 for RSVP instructions and additional info.
