The USDA Forest Service Procurement and Property Services, Field Procurement Operations, Southwest Zone, Contract Service Area 6, on behalf of Region 5, is currently preparing a solicitation RFP to provide road and drainage maintenance for three (3) roads on the Santa Barbara Ranger District (SBRD) of the Los Padres National Forest. The final deliverable will encompass essential road maintenance and drainage replacement services for the roadway. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, non-personal services, and all items necessary to perform the project work and associated contract requirements. The scope of work encompasses the blading of 11 miles of road and the restoration of existing drainage dips. Additionally, the project involves the upgrading of 75 overside drains and rolling dips on an unsurfaced road. All work must be performed in strict compliance with the terms, specifications, drawings, and provisions outlined in the contract.
