USDA APHIS PPQ is looking to establish a a 5 year FFP IDIQ contract for services to grow and maintain an estimated 300 Fraxinus uhdei (Tropical Ash) trees that will support a significant portion of the leaves needed to successfully operate the emerald ash borer (EAB) biocontrol rearing facility. The contractor must also repot and increase the pot size of an estimated 300 trees. The contractor’s space for growing and maintaining the trees must be located within approximately 20 miles from the USDA APHIS PPQ office, located at 5936 Ford Court, Suite 200, Brighton, MI 48116. Several EAB colonies are maintained in order to obtain sufficient numbers of EAB to support parasitoid rearing operations.
