## Description

The solicitation and federal construction wage rates are posted below. Answers to questions below, and pictures of the gates are attached.

1) Have the gates ever been damaged and repaired? No, they are all as originally built.

2) Are they currently damaged in any way? Gates 1 and 2 have no damage. Gate 3 as a whole is undamaged, however, one of the chain brackets is slightly bent and the weld is cracked (see picture). This issue does not currently affect functionality, but it may present problems long-term and the weld should probably be repaired.

3) Does each gate driveway handle one way traffic or two way traffic? Every gate handles traffic entering and exiting the property (2-way).

4) Your SOW is asking for approx 25 feet of chain for each gate-are you able to provide either a post to post measurement or an overall gate length measurement of each gate? The gate operator manufacturers offer the chain in various lengths. Gate 1 overall length is 37’ 1”. The measurement from chain bracket to chain bracket is 29’ 9”. Gate 2 overall length is 30’ 9”. The measurement from chain bracket to chain bracket is 20’ 4”. Gate 3 overall length is 30’ 2”.

The measurement from chain bracket to chain bracket is 28’ 9”. More questions: THEY SAID NEW STANDALONE HIGH-CAPACITY KEYPAD. WILL 480 UNIQUE CODES BE ENOUGH? More than enough. ALL GATES SHOULD BE WITH NEW CANTILEVER WHEELS. CONTROLLERS ARE ONLY AS GOOD AS THE WHEELS, WOULD YOU LIKE NEW ONES? The wheels don’t need replacing. WILL THEY WANT REMOTES TO ALSO CONTROL THE GATES? IF SO, HOW MANY?” 30 Amendment 0001 is posted below.

Amendment 0002 is posted below. Pic of keypad posted below. Additionally, we have another question: As mentioned in your solicitation: "Pull new 18/6 wire through existing chase, from operator to existing keypad." What is the distance of each chase from existing keypad to operator for all the gates? Gate 1 (main gate) wire length is 85ft, gate 2 (middle Gate) is 30ft, and gate 3 (op’s gate is 25ft). I’ll be posting this information on SAM.
